You should consider that the bricks and other material used are manufactured from eco-friendly material.  The house has solar panels installed. Nowadays, solar panels are available at reduced prices, so, it’s easy to have a house installed with solar panels.  The house is well insulated so that it remains warm in winters and cool in summers. Also, properly positioned windows will prevent your home being heated by the sun during morning and evening hours.  The builder has used energy efficient appliances or not. The appliances with high star ratings are preferable for efficient energy consumption.  Efficient use of water management techniques is there.  The house has low flow showerheads installed. They will cut down on water usage and save energy costs.  The roof of the house is light colored. This is because; light colors reflect the heat of the sun and help in cooling the house.  The building has tinted windows, as they reduce the glare of the sun.
